What is the dress code?
This is a special occasion and an opportunity to wear your “Sunday Best”. Daughters usually wear dresses – some come in prom dresses. “Hero’s’” often wear dress shirts and ties; suits are common attire (even a few tuxedos). Don’t forget your sneakers!!!
Can my parent drop me off?
No, there are no drop offs. This event is specifically for girls and their adult companion to enjoy together. An adult will be required to be present with you at the event.
Are all the activities and food covered under admission?
YES! Your ticket covers everything.
What if I have a sibling in a lower grade, can they attend the dance?
Only ABE Female siblings in the 5th & 6th grade can attend. In the case a parent has a daughter in both 5th & 6th grade or in the same grade; you will only need to purchase one couples ticket. *In the case a parent has a daughter in both 5th & 6th grade or in the same grade you can purchase one couples ticket.
What if I don’t have a special person to attend the dance with?
We do have a limited number of Dads’ club members who are available to participate in the event as a special person, if needed. Please send email request to kt5643@gmail.com.
Is registration refundable if I’m unable to attend?
All tickets purchased for the Dance are final. We do not issue refunds or exchanges for any reason other than if the event is cancelled in its entirety, so please make your purchase with this in mind.
What about moms?
We know that the more family members engaged in a student’s life the better. We’ll need a lot of support to help with decorating and setup. If mom is interested in volunteering on the day of the event, please send email to kt5643@gmail.com.
